There are a lot of ways of getting traffic to you websites(s), but none as easy as just buying massive traffic from some of the many services like this one and this one. I decided to give these services a go for some of my sites and I’m describing the result here.

After searching around and reading around, I tried running 100.000 views and 10.000 uniques of picturepush.com and of areallyhotdate.com. It would be very easy to see the result when traffic runs over those sites in terms of:

• Members (picturepush.com)
• Money (areallyhotdate.com)

I was sceptical about how these services work; as I have some high traffic sites myself, I did not really trust the quality of the traffic. But if you don’t try something

As an interesting comparison I will also include the results of an Adwords campaign for both sites. Of that campaign I did expect quit good results, as I did quite a lot of Adwords advertising already and it appears to be an efficient way of advertising sites.

In the competitive world of photo/video upload and online dating, it is not easy to get cheap traffic to sites; my estimate of adwords was that it would cost me quite a bundle to get anything done. This is also the reason why I am searching for cheaper ways of working.

Now the results:

On Picturepush.com the traffic came in and the visitors did not stay for more than a few seconds on both traffic services, as can be expected. The 100.000 visitor package was sent in 5000 views per day and the 10.000 package in about 1000 per day.

The adwords campaign delivered very few visitors, as also can be expected.

The numbers:

• TrafficDeliver: 1 new members per day for , cost $25 one-off
• MegaTraffix: 5 new members per day for 20 days, cost $29 one-off
• Adwords: 2 new members per day for 30 days, cost $800 total

The best deal here would be MegaTraffix, however the visitors of TrafficDeliver are more interesting.

Adwords delivered miserably. Why that is, I do not know; I have had much better results in the past, but probably the content of Picturepush.com is not interesting.

The Alexa ranking of Picturepush.com grew for sure.

AReallyhotdate.com was more interesting; People actually are more interested in being presented that kind of service. The numbers:

• TrafficDeliver: income $30, cost $25 one-off
• MegaTraffix: income $80, cost $29 one-off
• Adwords: income $1000, cost $1000 total

All programs delivered, however the traffic programs delivered better than Adwords. This can be called a profit though, because, as I always use the % program, not the one-off fee program of affiliate systems, $1000 in sales, will deliver extra from those members in the years to come, as they re-sign-up. Some of my friends told me I shouldn’t use AFF like that, as it will lower my partner %, however, it did not do that that much; it is 44,3% on average which is delivering nicely apparently.

Not knowing it would, I accidentally stumbled upon a get-money-without-work program! Ofcourse I did not do further and continued testing, but my conclusions here are:

• The traffic delivered is not targetted, but still it actually works.
• More cheap traffic is better than little expensive traffic.
• Adwords works fine, but delivers not that well: the MegaTraffix deal, for $1000, would deliver $2800 if an identical conversion applies.

I hope other people will come up with some numbers, as I am always curious about it.
