On the internet it is still all about going as fast as you can. Think of something, set a site up the same day, start a blog about it the same week. Start marketing immediately. Get the software done, at least a first version ASAP and prelaunch or launch an alpha version.
The problem is ofcourse that you really cannot rush programmers into doing that kind of thing. Some programmers can do it, but most will require more and more (and more and more…) time getting it done and then it is usually not as you want it.
Is this feeling of ; why can’t he just get it done? And is the accompanying feeling of powerlessness familiar to you? It is to me…
Even though I am a programmer and I have been on the side of the programmer, too often have I clawed at the walls because I thought I hired a good coder and he turned out not to be able to do it in the end. Why this happens I very well know. Sometimes you just cannot get some stuff done even if people are paying for it.
But how to get over this point so your projects go lightening fast from now on and do work like a charm? A few of my marketer friends started to just code themselves. They are not good at it but good enough to get things done, connect some opensource stuff together and get basically done what they want. Some designer will add the design and they launch a new product. Ofcourse the big boys won’t ever do that as it is wasting time and effort you could’ve put in marketing.
What would be ideal is to have nonĀ techy guys with some marketing and designer feel but who are not superiour programmers to work on your project, delivering quality for a very low price! That doesn’t exist… Or does it?
To remedy the problem for once and for all I put together a package which allows novice programmers and non-programmers to put together applications in record time. And I’m talking hours instead of weeks or months.
There is no real magic to this, just years of programming thought me how to work like that. I’ll be trying to pre-launch the product in the coming months. Prepare to be amazed!
